The Power of Voice

Born and raised in Rochester NY, the final resting place of Frederick Douglass, I know what it means to use my voice as a tool to spark thoughts and actions much like the great orators who’ve come before me.

Over the years, I’ve sharpened this tool to put me a cut above, now I wish to help others do the same. One of the most underrated skills in business is the ability to authentically articulate yourself in a manner that is both professional and personal.

Whether it’s Songwriting, Speechwriting, or any form of event hosting, I use my abilities to curate unforgettable experiences in the city I love.

I’m endeavoring to expand the reach of this fair city through the connections this industry can offer.

It all started when I was young

Growing up, I was the youngest of four boys, so it took a lot to stand out from the crowd, especially considering I had a little sister who loved the spotlight.

I was gifted a toy guitar on my fourth birthday, and I got the bright idea that my brothers and I should start a band. From that day forward, I’ve been in love with the idea of performing!

Here’s the inaugural performance of “The Noise Makers” as my mom so affectionately called us.

Since then, I’ve gotten much better

As you can see from the crowd below, the noise has evolved into actual lyrical content that has the crowd pumped to hear what’s coming next!

What inspires me

My entire life, I’ve been surrounded by various communities of people all striving to achieve their dreams in their own way. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have had such an example set for me. To keep those lessons close to my heart I follow three simple steps whenever I write.

  • Above all else, I value authenticity, it’s the hip-hop in me. Being true to yourself is paramount and I seek to have a little bit of me in everything that I do.

  • When I give a speech or write a song, my main motivating question is “How can this impact people?” Every time I seek to inspire joy in all ears who hear them.

  • Above all else, if the process isn’t enjoyable, then I haven’t been following the first two steps. It’s my philosophy that writing should be an enjoyable and reflective experience
